Who We Are:
Ground Work F.T.B. Resources & Services provides transitional housing and services. We are dedicated to providing safe housing for those experiencing homelessness, those in recovery, and individuals impacted by trauma and unsafe environments. We serve communities across some states that can assist individuals in need in gaining independence. In addition, we help rebuild stability, individually and within families. Our support extends to persons released from holding facilities, providing change, job search, entrepreneurship guidance, and goal-setting to help them move forward with confidence.
Our Mission:
While grounded in faith, trust in God, and His purpose for every individual, our mission is to uplift and assure people that they are not alone. We aim to help individuals build security with a new beginning towards a new life filled with hope, confidence, and safety.
We are committed to transparency in our goals, the privacy of those we serve, and being a steady advocate for those who may feel unheard while achieving the best outcome that best fits their needs. Our Story/Why We Started:
Ground Work From the Bottom Up represents the courage it takes to rebuild a life from nothing. Starting over takes faith, grit, and hope – more importantly, without a support system. Being at the bottom can seem frightening, which makes giving up easy. This level of life can take a toll on those who lack strength. Many individuals lack the tools or even the hope to move forward.
Because homelessness affects countless individuals across the world, we believe in doing our part to create real change. With the help of our partners and community, we are committed to transforming lives – one person at a time.
Leadership/Founders Message:
A life of instability can break even the strongest person. As the founder of the Ground Work F.T.B.U project, I understand what it means to face a major setback and rise again after trauma. Through healing, I committed myself to building a new life grounded in safety, security, a rock-solid foundation with a new, strong faith in Christ. This journey inspired me to accomplish a solid plan and the need to help others do the same. My passion is seeing people thrive, not just survive. I am committed to walking alongside every individual who seeks a new beginning. With faith, a solid plan, as well as unwavering support, I believe every person can rise to their greatest potential.
